We just finished up a week of vacation on Sunday so this week has been tough for us trying to settle back into a routine... I'm sure you know how that is. We spent 5 days in Wisconsin Dells at Great Wolf with our boys and our nephew followed by 2 days of just me and my husband in Duluth, MN. I plan to do a full review of both get-aways soon!
Anyway...
I have been IN LOVE with all things gold lately. I want to buy everything gold or paint everything gold. Luckily, I had some amazing luck garage-saling earlier in the year. I had been searching for a mirror to hang in my living room that is big enough to fill the space above my desk. I didn't want to pay a lot and of course, I wanted to paint it gold.
I found this beauty at a garage sale for $5!!
And we already know that I wanted to paint it gold so I taped it off and used wax paper to cover the rest.
At the same garage sale, I found an adorable lamp that I didn't even know that I NEEDED.
(I had taped it before I thought to take a before picture.)
I think we all know where this is going to go...
GOLD!
I use Rustoleum Metallic Gold spray paint.
